2005-2011

GRAPHIC DESIGNER - GILLETTE NEWS RECORD

Design and layout of advertisements, special sections, cover design, posters/flyers, logo design and various other creative tasks.

2004-2005

MARKETING DIRECTOR - ASSIST 2 SELL GILLETTE REAL ESTATE

Oversight and design of advertisements and logos (for related business), as well as handling of all marketing for the office.

2002-2004

GRAPHIC DESIGNER - BENNETT ADVERTISING

Design of all advertisements, layout of magazines, creative writing, logo design and some sales.

2000-2002

COMMERCIAL ARTS/JOURNALISM (Major/Minor) - CHADRON STATE COLLEGE

Maintained a GPA of 3.85 or higher, landing the Dean’s and President’s list. Attended on a full tuition Gold Presidential Scholarship for academic achievement.

2010

PHOTOGRAPHER/OWNER - FAIR OF FACE PHOTOGRAPHY

Started a part time photography business specializing in children and family portraits. Operated from March through December until closing the business due to time contstraints and being unable to keep up with a full time job and a successful business.

My name is Shauna, and I am a professional graphic designer who has worked in the advertising industry for 10 years. I dabble in web design, but my forte is print - with 6 years experience at a daily newspaper and nearly 3 years at an agency which publishes a monthly real estate and auto magazine, my print knowledge is extensive. In addition to graphic design, I am an avid photographer, having briefly owned my own photography business.
