SO MUCH GRATITUDE TO SIMONE KATHERINE FOR CO-HOSTING THIS POWERFUL SESSION TODAY!
Our theme today was FIRE: Bring your sacred rage and fire!
This is YOUR time.
Meggan Watterson, author of Mary Magdalene Revealed and The Girl Who Baptized Herself appeared on We Can Do Hard Things podcast with Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach.
I’m paraphrasing here but Watterson said, our rage is love. And this really activated for me.
Rage does not have to be violent. That is a patriarchal construct, something men were conditioned to do with their emotions, to turn them into rage because feeling them was ‘dangerous’.
And for women, we were forbidden to express rage, socially conditioned to suppress anger.
It is the love you are finally free to have for yourself. The rage you have carried for your ancestors for generations.
It’s the voice we were all told to silence.
Rage is acknowledgement. Rage is release. Rage is love for the divine feminine in all of us (regardless of gender identity) we were trained to deny for centuries.
It is the great ‘un-gaslighting’.
Express it in whatever creative ways you wish.
Write it down and watch it burn on the BBQ.
Scream outside. Punch a pillow. Let it out!
It is the love for yourself you have forgotten. And time is irrelevant.
Your time is right now.
It’s time to remember who you are and stop abandoning her.
What are you ready to do with your fire?
Boundaries? Calling family in? Quitting something? Starting something?
IT’S CALLED UNSHRINKABLE and I’d love to work with you!
Much love to you ALL!
